I have been promising DRC updated pictures of Ginger for her Petfinder listing... I have been trying, but being less than successful. First I was practicing using the photo effects offered on my Droid smartphone...
In the sunlight you can see some of her ginger highlights.
Next I thought lets try spur of the moment shots to see if I could get a picture of her looking adorable in the spot she has picked for her bed. DH's wing back chair and ottoman (covered to keep chair and ottoman together). But she looked so darn comfortable, she made me sleepy.
So the other night I thought I would try to get a picture of her at the foot of our bed... the lighting was good, she was looking cute... I grabbed the camera to shoot a pic and while I was trying to focus Ginger decided it was time to cuddle.
Now that she is out from under the shadow of her sister Lexie (who was adopted in November) Ginger's personality has really blossomed. She is not depending on Lexie to be cute for both of them. Ginger loves to give hugs and kisses. If you are sitting watching TV or laying in bed reading you can be sure that Ginger is going to be snuggled right up against you looking for a head scratch or tummy rub.
Quite by accident we learned that Ginger loves to play fetch. I had Ginger at our local dog park to socialize her and one of the dogs (not mine) brought me a tennis ball to toss. So I tossed and Ginger took off light a flash of lighting to beat the other dog to the ball. She scooped up the ball and trotted back to me to throw the ball again. We played fetch for another 30 minutes; she would have kept it up but I was ready to do something else.
Today is a clear sunny day though a little chilly. I am going to tempt DH with a rare home cooked dinner to get his help on trying to get PF-worthy pictures of Ginger.
