Paisley scared her Mom!
Today I had a little scare with Paisley. I let the dogs out to go potty and was sitting in the sunroom watching them, Paisley romps around a little then she comes to the screen door and she is pawing at her nose and wiggling ( she is a wiggle bug so I didn't think much of that) I let her in and she keeps pawing at her nose, I think "wow" she must have got stung by a bee, so I pick her up and I'm looking around her nose and then I open her mouth and to my surprise she has a large wood chip stuck in the upper roof of her mouth, my heart drops and I stick my finger in her mouth and pulled this wood chip out, she does not let out a peep, she is a tough little girl! I know it
had to hurt as it was really stuck in there and on one point of it their is a little blood. I am so glad that this did not get caught in her throat. There are so many things outside that your little babies can get into but we have to let them play and just keep things as safe as possible. Thank God she is OK, I love this little girl!

Thanks everyone, Paisley is all good to go and today she is chewing on her favorite, a Bully Stick! Oh, the things puppies get into.

There really ARE so many things they can get into outside if they're especially curious. Glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious...

Wow, Gracie Doodle loves to chew on sticks from tree branches and logs. She has a pile of them and she will go out on the back lawn, grab one out of her stick pile and "log in some time" chewing on the stick. She could also get a piece stuck...I guess I will have to monitor her "logging time"!

This happened to Gus once too, I also thought he got stung! It's amazing how tightly a wood chip can get stuck between the upper teeth it was really hard to get out. Thought it would cure his want of chips, not..............

It does seem like they get something no matter how careful we are. Glad it worked out. She is so cute, and I love that name.
