Happy Earth Day! The duckling has hatched!!
What and amazing experience!! The kids and I just loved it! I edited the video A LOT. It's still 6 minutes, but worth watching. :o) Enjoy the miracle of life...

As a city girl, I have never had the opportunity to watch a duck hatch. I was fascinated. How lucky your children are. Thank you so much for sharing.

Jane, you are so sweet! The song is "Amazing" by Celine Dion. It's one of my favorites! I will keep you posted, but I'm not sure I should keep all of DK posted... after all it is a duck, not a doodle. :o) Maybe she could be like a mascot? :) Are you on facebook? I'll do weekly updated there.

Okay, I am totally blown away and crying like a baby. How amazing is this! You did a wonderful job with this video....it's so perfect for Earth Day. What was that first song...I've never heard it before, but I love it? Now please keep us posted on Cassie. You must be the best Mom ever for creating this experience for your kids...and for your DK friends too. I was so hoping for one of your blogs, but this is way beyond what I could have imagined...thanks!
