Doodle Day 1
Last night I arrived home about 10:30 pm after spending the weekend with family in Texas. All three of my kids were still wide awake and sitting on the couch with my husband and I immediately knew something was amiss. On the couch curled up was a ball of black fluff. My sweet husband just looked at me and said "Happy Anniversary!" I was really wanting a puppy and did he ever deliver- one look in those deep, dovey eyes and all my puppy dreams had come true. Last night I got up once to let her out of her crate and to the bathroom and we avoided any crate accidents. She has had many successful trips outside and few unsuccessful "presents" for me to pick up inside but she seems very smart and quick to learn new things so I anticipate potty training to go relatively smoothly. I named her Eden because it means 'delight' and that is exactly what she is- a delight! She was deemed in excellent health by the vet this morning and has spent the afternoon playing and being doted on by all of us in the Dinan house. I am immersing myself in all things "doodle" and thoroughly enjoying this special girl!

I remember how wonderful it was when I brought Holly home. By the way, it just gets better! We have had Holly five years this month and wouldn't change a thing about her.

What a sweetie. I know my husband would never get me another Doodle for our ann. I have three now. Keep your hubbie,sounds like a great guy!!

Great Husband and especially thoughtful! Congratulations and Happy Anniversary. I love her name and that picture looks like she is very happy to be in the Dinan family!
