Camus and his new house
The house is painted! Camus helped me a lot with his tail and paws, he just painted wrong things. Although we were very busy, we went to the dog beach for 4 days in a row.
Camus is crazy about the ocean. Now it's a problem to walk on beaches where the dogs are not allowed off-leash. Camus pulls to the water all the time.
Another thing, we discovered and don't know how to deal with it. Camus poops in the ocean. :( He sits where the water comes to his hips and... I feel very embarrassed and pretend hi's not my dog.
Has just uploaded a new short video about our moving.
The new house is a dog dream. It has 2 yards: back yard and courtyard. The hallway is a circle. Camus can run non-stop.

Lucy, that's hard. I tried. If we have already arrived to the dog beach, there is no way to hold him on leash. If we walk in the back yard before going to the beach, he won't poop and will hold till the night. :( We will have to solve it. I can't allow him to keep doing that, although it's a dog beach.

I'm very jealous that you are at the ocean. Can't you just get his poop cycle regulated so he can have already poo'd before he goes to the ocean. That is what I had to do with Sophie before starting her therapy work so that I would know she didn't need to go when we went in the facilities.

Congratulations on your new home. Enjoy it!Calla managed to stain her paws and side yesterday when I was staining a gate. Doodles really are poor helpers for some jobs.

Sounds like you've had a busy few days. I hate painting and I can't even imagine trying to do it with a doodle around! Regarding the ocean/pooping thing - at a recent doodle romp at the beach, I watched one of the doodles do the very same thing. May be some instinct left over from long ago!

Hahaha. That's what we said too. Pooping and washing. What a fine dog.
It's so embarrassing that I have to pretend that he is not my dog for a sec. I guess we have to go back to house-ocean-training.
