Bella is sharing her birthday party !
Bella doesn't know it yet, but we are having a combo 2 year birthday party for her with our 3 year old grandson. Their birthdays are in the same week and Ethan, our grandson LOVES his dogs and calls all dogs "bubbas" . He is just now starting to say Bella and Murphy.
His mom, with his help decided a while ago to have a "Bubba Birthday" themed party for him( otherwise known as a dog themed party) July 14th and make a bone shaped cake, put treats in real dog bowls, make cookies like dog paw prints, and invite all the family dogs (5 in all) over for a pool party.
As we are getting our decorations and invitations together, I remembered that Bella's birthday is July 19th! So we asked Ethan if Bella can share his birthday and he said yes. Ofcourse, he says yes to most everything, so that might have been a little presumptuous of us.
So the dogs will have their own bone shaped cake and eat their own treats out of their real dog bowls and wear party hats like all the humans too.
I am so looking forward to it! We just have to be sure we don't get their gifts mixed up, because Ethan loves balls too and Bella will eat any plastic kids toy she can sink her teeth into.
I will be sure to post pictures from the big event. There might be a picture of the little birthday boy too!

I love the theme of this party, and Ethan is certainly an agreeable little guy to say "yes" to most everything, lol!
