I did pass this on to a few people and found people sharing both grapes and raisins with thier dogs. I did know about this but was surprised to find that many do not know about this.

I love Night Blooming Jasmine. We had it on our fences in CA. We have recently moved from CA to Taylors, SC and are ready to do some landscaping. Do you have a recommendation for a couple of books on flowers and plants for this area? Thanks.

Hi, Sorry I sent the notice too soon.

See what I mean. You are a "book of knowledge"! Thanks again Karen!

Garlic is fine in small amounts; it is from the same family as onions, but the substance in onions that can cause a form of hemolytic anemia in dogs is much lower in garlic than in onions. The toxicity of onions also depends on the size of the dog a…

I am still confused about GARLIC. It is part of the onion family, but still good for the dog????

Here is another black beauty! Yuki is his name and he lives in NC. His mother is Rutlands Delilah and his father is Chicago's Hershey Bar Kid. They did a great job in his photograph.

We all know how hard it is to show off our beautiful blackies. I was told when using a digital camera be sure to have a darker rather than lighter background behind the dark dog. Digitals notoriously pick up the light and distorts the dark.

About Me:
As a "mature" couple we have bred dogs for many years. This was done on an elite basis with high quality Golden Retreiver bitches bred to Golden Retreiver champions. Our puppies were awesome and we enjoyed them so much. Carl became more and more allergic each time our puppies came. In January 2006 he informed me that we could not do it anymore as he was so sick all the time they were with us. Ouch! This was so hard. We began looking and on this adventure we found the Australian Labradoodle. Wow! What a dog!
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We have Australian Labradoodles. Our first doodle came to us from Rutland Manor in June 2006. She had been bred to Rutlands Kelby. Two weeks after landing in the USA, Rutlands Delilah delivered 11 gorgeous puppies in 4 1/2 hours. We kept two of her girls-Green Gables AnnaKate of RK aka Katie, and Green Gables DarbyAnne of RK aka Darby. We were blessed to have Chicago's Hershey Bar Kid aka Rigby or Rigs, to be a part of our family. We kept a girl from his and Katie's litter. She is our Cheerie Delight. Green Gables Cricket is another daugher of Del's and Hudson Midas. We dearly love our girls and boy.

Thanks for your links to cutting faces. I really liked the wavy fleece outcome and the ears and pouf on the curly one.
