"The vet thinks Alfie's getting a little heavy (almost 60 pounds!), so she changed his favorite treats (Milk-Bone) to fresh green beans! He's not only insulted, he's a bit revolted at the idea. Poor baby."
Alfie and I live in SW Austin. I take him to Laura's Doggie Doos just off of Manchaca south of Wm Cannon. She does a great job, she's SUPER reasonable, and Alfie loves her! The number is 497-3966. (Tell her Alfie and Susan sent…"
"Robert and Joan: I *loved* Ajijic! It was my second trip (the first in January). I had planned to move there, but the weather was a bit warmer than I expected, so I'm still searching for the perfect climate. You're in San Miguel de…"
"I just returned yesterday from a two-week stay in Ajijic, Mexico, and picked up my Alfie from the boarder's here in Austin. I called EVERY day I was gone, and thought about him constantly. We're thrilled to be back together! I think the…"
Hi Susan, Your Alfie is adorable... such a cutie! I noticed you mentioned in the Central Texas Doodles group that he is from Dixie's Doodles. My Shelby is also! I have started a Dixie's Doodles Alumni group... I'd love to have you join - I think it would be fun to keep connected and maybe we can find owners of our pups litter mates! Hope you have a great weekend!
Just after I brought Alfie home, he developed parvo, so we didn't leave the house for several weeks. During that time, I had a trainer come to the house for a few lessons. Since then, we've been to several classes, including one class that was a prerequisite to the therapy dog certification. I didn't follow up on the certification at that time, but I think I want to get back into it in the spring. He minds well. My only complaint is the jumping on guests as they come in the door, and his wanting to keep the leash taught when we walk. Annie is gorgeous, by the way. Susan
