Rua is moving to California!

Oh, and so is her momma! It has been a rough 3-1/2 months since I found out that my DH (and I no longer mean dear) wanted to continue his life without me. I had just started a new job and was in a town we had relocated to because of his job.
My dream house (had built on a golf course) has been up for sale for the past 3 months...getting some action on it now and I am praying it sells soon. Many people have said they wanted to buy it, but they had a house to sell first. …

My DH's beloved grandpa died this morning. He was the greatest man I have ever known and has touched so many people. He lived a wonderful and full 96 years and is now at home with the Lord and is walking in Heaven with his wife Mitzi and his son Bill (DH's dad).
The funeral hasn't been arranged yet, but I just know we will have such a special time together paying tribute to Elmer Bergman! He will be missed by so many.

It is so hard to believe that Rua will turn 1 tomorrow! She is the absolute love of my life (of course, my DH is, but in a different way....you all know what I mean) and it just seems like we brought her home. The last 10 months have flown by so quickly.
The progression from:
- Crates and ex-pens to roaming the house and sleeping on the bed.
- Trips outside every hour to "potty", Poochie bells (upstairs and downstairs) on the doors, purchasing a gallon…

After reading several blog posts and discussions about Doodle Moms with OCD...I think there should be a new acronym. OCDM. We have one Doodle Mom who MUST have all of the toys neatly kept in the toy box (I happen to agree with Murphy...you can't PLAY with toys when they are in the box). We have another Doodle Mom who worries too much about, well, just about everything (I am just like that too, Jennifer).

- I am originally from California, spent 30 years in northern Minnesota and have lived in Omaha NE since 12/31/2005 and just moved back to San Mateo CA on 4/14/2012!

- We got our F1B Mini Goldendoodle on 9/24/2010. Rua (Irish/Gaelic for red-haired) was born on 7/27/2010.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We had a Labradoodle before and loved the intelligence and non-shedding. We moved into an apartment for 11 months while building a house and my husband gave her to a friend's grandmother in another state as we didn't want to subject a 55lb dog to a small apartment. Moved into our new house 6/2009 and I missed her so much, had to get another dog.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Snuggle, love, kiss, pet, go places, train, agility!
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Me - but it is a work in progress.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Neater Feeder, Poochie-Bell, Skinneeez stuffing free dog toys, Kongs w/ Peanut Butter, any stuffed animal.

Thanks for the welcome! And welcome back to CA =) I don't know of any doodle owners, so that's awesome to hear about activities in the area. It'll be a while before my pup can come out to play since I'm just bringing him home this weekend, but I'll remember to look into it for later!

Hi Dori, just checking in. I know you are getting adjusted, not only to your new home (the West Coast), weather but the time difference as well. Don't let it fool you, amongst the emotions already, that will throw a wrench in it all. I have been praying for you since I have been able to catch up a little bit. I have been off the radar for the last 6 months or so (with the exception every now & again) just due to health issues. I just wanted to leave you with this for now:
