At 5:39am on May 19, 2010, Melissa said…: Barley is such a little runt, he was at the vet last week and is only 23.1lbs. I started running a 3-4 miles with him 1-2 times a week, I think this has caused him the sudden weight loss....running is really a win-win for both of us :)

I just saw your comment about Charlie's fear of the car. Barley became the same way about 6 months ago, he seems to be getting better. It was so weird how one day he refused to get in the car, and then the panic attacks started happening. I talked to my vet because I was concerned that amount of anxiety wasn't good. She said to keep bringing him, and he will grow out of it. These dogs are so goofy!

Hurley started about 2 months ago with his obsession :) We try really hard to keep them away from him, but he seems to find them anyway. If there is a pile of laundry waiting to be done he will find the one pair of socks and take off running with them!!!

At 7:24am on December 4, 2009, Melissa said…: I am glad to hear the matting gets better once the puppy coat grows out. Barley's matting got bad because of his harness, the groomer said that is often the culprit of bad matting. I don't love the short cut, but it has been nice having a break form all the brushing. People keep saying he looks like a different dog, I can't believe how slender he looks.
How is charlie doing? I must say since Barley has turned one (I know it has only been 4 days) he has become a terror! I come from work with blankets on he floor and plants knocked over, such a crazy puppy!
