We are sorry to hear of Lola's cancer diagnosis; we will add Lola to the prayer chain for our dog friends battling this terrible disease. Please feel free to email us anytime and we will share our knowledge and experiences that we have faced over the past 14 1/2 months with Rusty's battle. I have posted a blog "chronicle" of Rusty's battle with cancer on this site and also at rusty.tripawds.com and doodlemessenger.webs.com.
The tripawds site is a wonderful source of information and support for cancer amputee's. They have provided Rusty and us with a lot of support during these difficult times; I would recommend that you join and post Lola's story. Most of the dogs on tripawds have osteosarcoma rather than the fibrosarcoma that Rusty has.
I will be posting and update on Rusty this weekend; he had his three week follow-up for the elevated liver enzymes on Thursday and the good news is that they are back into the acceptable range; unfortunately, Rusty is having increased vomiting which has Dr. Macy worried; we will probably be taking him to San Diego next week for more scans.
