- About Me:
- I live in Elk Grove, CA with my boyfriend Darren and 5yr old daughter Janessa. We are all huge animal lovers! When my daughter was 3 she began asking for a puppy, and I told her when she turned 5 we would get another one. For a year and a half I did so much research online about Labradoodles and just fell in love with them!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have a multi-gen medium Australian Labradoodle named Chloe. We got her from Spring Creek Labradoodles and she is out of Virtue/Legend's litter born 5/13/08. We also have a 6yr old chocolate lab named Jenna. Chloe definitely thinks she's the boss!
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I just fell in love with the breed while searching online. The more I read about them and the more pictures I saw, the more I knew a doodle was what I wanted!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Go to the dog park, play fetch, snuggle, teach her new commands, watch her interact/play with other dogs. But I think her favorite thing to do is chase our poor cat, Rudy!
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- She goes to a groomer here in Elk Grove - she does such a great job!
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- She loves, loves, loves her squeaky toys! She loves getting treats too, mostly Bully Stix :)

Mark, Sarah & DEXTER! said… - Hi Wendy, Been a long time since I looked in, looks like Chloe is getting bigger! Dexter is up to about 44 pounds now, he's officially starting to be a big dog! His coat looks about the same as Chloe's. Dexter is catching a tennis ball, treats, frisbees, and whatever else is thrown his way nowadays! Hope Chloe's good!

Have you found a groomer you like? I saw a goldendoodle at Trends and Treats in Fairoaks and he was done BEAUTIFULLY! It's a ways for you to go - but he really looked great. Just a recommendation if you need one.

How are your dogs getting along. I now have two doodles. We lost our two springers last October after the hurricane hit the TX coast due to health issues. I got our second springer when I already had a 6 year springer. My Freckles the older and she got along ok with April but they never played like my puppy doodles do. I think age is a huge factor when you get a second puppy. I hope your two are doing really well and getting along.
