- About Me:
- I am married and a mother of 3, and grandmother of 5 (with another on the way!) I am a scuba and swim instructor, and own a home based scuba shop. I am studying to be a Vet Assistant/Animal Care Specialist. I also am a new breeder of Australian Labradoodles.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I own 3 Australian Labradoodles, an old cat and a 180 gallon reef aquarium! My first beloved doodle is Brooke, a red curly fleece coated girl. Our next doodle is Quinn, a caramel and cream wavy fleece coated boy, and we just got Cameron, a red wool coated girl.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- My husband likes to upland bird hunt and so we owned Labs for years. Our two oldest grandchildren were allergic to their hair. So we began research to find a hypo-allergenic dog with retriever abilities and a dog great with children. That search led us to the Australian Labradoodle.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We love to cuddle and sleep cuddling with our doodles! (No hair in the bed and up our noses!) Also Brooke LOVES to swim and retrieve her squeeky ball from our swimming pool. They all love to go for walks, ride in the car, go camping, and just hang out with us and our grandchildren.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Aleta and her mom Teresa, and now Kasey and myself sometimes!

We are new breeders and today we shipped two puppies to new homes for the first time. I had no idea how attached I had become to these two beauties. My husband Mike and I had an emotional time saying goodbye to Aspen and Vincent Van Gogh. Mike wished them both a long and happy life in their new homes. WOW, this is the tough part. - Thanks for complimenting my boys. I am not really computer savvy but have learned a lot as doodlekisses has grown. I usually screw it up at least three times before getting it 'right' and then not realizing how I got it right!
