CORRECTIONS::: Per black walnut, I listed wrong amount confusing licorice root with walnut.
I give 16 drops Black walnut for 40-50 lb dog.
Lic Root is also used in the other formula discussed. I give a full dropper of Lic Root which helps many thing…
You know, it's always hard to decide if you're going to use natural or chemical preventions.
I don't live or go anywhere that's high in heartworm issues. I've used black walnut tincture 2 pulls which equals one FULL dropper from Herb Pharm for about…
Did your dog have a reaction to black walnut? Interesting they have other choices now. I've used black walnut (tincture form) during the season (spring thru fall) plus a heart worm Nosode. I get that from

I think wellness is a better brand. Natural Balance has been honorable in dealing with recalls but they've had quite a few. I've used their line in the past for the potato diets and different protein sources but I'd consider it a B- food.

Well, antibiotics kill bacteria, both good and bad. I believe when they're on antibiotics you're giving probiotics just to keep even. They really need a bigger dose when the medicine ends. Anyway, the farther from the antibiotic, the better change f…
What I've learned is:
If it's a maintenance thing, then I think once a day is fine.
If she's got an upset tummy, then I divide it between two meals. Don't worry about being exact in measuring.
If she's on antibiotics, give it around 2 hours away fro…
Hi All,
I need some problem solving ideas. My girl is very gentle and delicate. For years I've used bells on a cord on the door for her to ring when she needs to go outside to potty. She's so gentle it's hard to hear her ring the bells unless I'm ri…
Valerie,
Just realized I sent response to your page.
Oh well.
Chews:
When Gabby was a puppy every chew was destroyed in 5 minutes. These two toys have lasted but you can only buy on line. The others in this line did NOT last her teeth.

Hi Terry! Thanks for the response(s). I will take any advice I can get - we all have our own experiences but I guess learning what has helped everyone else gets us one step closer to what will work. I'll take a look at that website :)
You could try using a shedding rake to thin the coat. Generally we don't use them because they do cut and thin the coat. Shedding rakes are designed for dogs with top and undercoats like shepherds or huskies.
Keep up the good work. It gets easier as the doodes get older. I just used a long blade on my curly wool doode right after blowing the dust out of his coat, but not brushing or combing him. I got the blade right through his coat and he hadn't been brushed for quite a while.
Terry, glad that helped. :-) To add more pictures to your page, just go to the place that says "Terry's Pictures." Just below the pics on the lower left it says "+Add Photos" Click that link and it will load a page that you can add tons of pictures on. You can add a few at a time or a whole bunch at once. Once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. Again, any computer victory I have is always exciting to me! LOL
Hey Terry. If you go to the dialogue box...up on the left just above the box are 7 little icons - starting with B (for bold), I (for italic I), etc When you want to post the pics, just click on the camera icon. Then just pick & add the pictures just like you did for this page. You can add several pictures in one post...the pics show up as code in your message, but when you hit "Add comment" the pictures appear.
I'm not a computer person, so I was very excited to figure out how to do this. :-) Looking forward to seeing more pictures of your baby. :-)
oops sorry, forgot to answer your question. I have been breeding labradoodles just over 5 years. and for 10 years before that, I bred, and showed, Standard and Miniature Poodles.
I love both breeds....
Yes, Terry I am in Canada. Sorry you are having problems navigating this site, I am on dial-up, (all that is available here) and sometimes I want to kick my computer because things take so long. I know it is not the computer, but....I do not have any solutions for you. Technology isn't really my friend...LOL I do like the smiling face on you doodle..
Hope you guys had a great time today at the romp, Oski sure did! FYI: I just created a Portland Area Doodle group to make setting future events easier, feel free to join in :)
