Reilly is 26lbs.. the boys will soon be 10 mnths old!!! I think we all we're lucky to find The Paw Pad and our wondeful doodles..they all seem to have great personalities..and from my experience have changed my life in such a good way!!!

Reilly was given the ok to take off his cone,yesterday!! YEAH..he's so happy, we're so happy to have our little doodle back!! He weighted in at 19 an 1/2 pds and I can say he is really solid...wondering what he'll top out at???

- I have only taken her to Dog Gone Beautiful!! One day when we were at PetSmart
we saw a Goldendoodle and I asked her where she took her dog and she takes
him to a place on Prospect called Groomingdales. They are not in the telephone book
but I do have their telephone number. I am going to try them next.

- Halas did just fine after his neuter surgery. His recovery took just a little longer than normal, though. His first cone was too small, so he could still reach his incision, and the edge of the cone could push up against the incision. The incision got irritated, so I had to go back and get him a bigger cone, and they put him on antibiotics just in case, since the incision was irritated. But, he was just fine after that. I think he ended up wearing the cone for 2 weeks or a little bit more, just to make sure that incision healed up. I want to say they normally only have to wear it about a week or 10 days.
So let me know when Reilly is ready to play again, and we'll plan a play date.

Kelly and Hurley said… - Hurley's tips are still quite red, then the middle of the hairs are much lighter, and then the roots are wavy and red again! We gave him a bath the other night and he was really good. He didn't really like or dislike it. He actually seems to like being brushed now. We have really worked on that alot. I am planning on doing all the grooming myself (I've been cutting my husband and sons hair for years, not the same I know but I think I have a good shot at being able to do Hurley's grooming!), so we
have really been working on getting him used to all the tools we might need to use. How is Reilly doing?
