- My daughter and I own an independent specialty toy and book store in our historic downtown. I live in a house in the country in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with my husband of 38 years, Kelley.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Our Goldendoodle puppy is Pippi. She is 4 months old--beautiful, smart, goofy, and loving. Our whole family is crazy about her. She is our first dog in 25 years, and we're so happy to have her as part of our household.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I had read that they are hypo-allergenic, low shedding, smart, lively and energetic, and full of fun. Pippi is all of those, and more!
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We love our obedience classes. She loves to play outside--fetch, frisbee, and soccer are some of her favorites. And she also enjoys working in the garden and helping with all the yard work. Spreading straw on our new grass seed was a highlight of yesterday.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- She has not required grooming yet. But I bathe and brush her and trim the fur around her eyes and between her toes. The vet has been trimming her nails.

Your dog is precious. We will welcome our new family member on Oct. 6th. We can't wait to share our adventure with our new doodle community. Our dogs will almost grow up together. Looking forward to meeting as many doodle's and their people as possible!
