About Me:
I am a 3rd grade teacher on Long Island, NY. My partner is an insurance consultant that mostly works from home. We live in Rockville Centre.
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
We have a standard Golden Doodle, named Jax. We just got him about two weeks ago. He's still getting used to us and the routines. He is a very lazy doodle (as of now). He sleeps around the house most of the day.
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Gift from Friend/Relative
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
I have some friends that have doodles that I fell in love with. Also, I have a slight allergy, in which I am allergic to short hair dogs.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Taking walks (he's gotten soooo much better), playing with his frisbee or tug-of-war with his rope. Sitting on the front porch together, while reading the paper.
Does your doodle(s) shed?
Nope!
Who grooms your doodle(s)?
Me (for now, while he is a puppy)
Favorite Doodle Products?
n/a - looking forward to some ideas for good products for Jax

Jax is a cutie.  Our ALD was a similar couch potato when he was young.  As he got a little older and more sure of himself, he started to love his walks (but 30 minutes is all he wants to do!).  We are now staying on the beach in Oregon and he loves it.  He is good to go for 2 - one hour walks!  I am amazed.

Hi my friend! So glad you made it here! FYI, Sonny loves Kongs and tennis balls and soccer balls as long as a tennis ball hasn't been spotted. He also loves Nyla bones but you have to make sure you throw them out when they start to fray. Welcome babe! xoxo
