- Me & my family live in Middle TN and looking forward to getting our first doodle puppy this summer! Waiting on Mom's pregnacy test to be positive with our litter!

- We will be getting an F1B Standard golden doodle this May. "Perry" will hopefully be born in April. My Son has chosen the name "Perry" after the disney cartoon, Perry the platypus, from " Phines & Ferb" We are open to a girl or boy!

- We wanted a larger dog ( have had toy poodles in the past) and loved the combination of a Golden's personality & Poodle hair!

Hi Stephanie, I am not a member of the Puppy Madness group so cannot post to your discussion, but I can tell you that it's very common for female dogs to have a first heat at 6 months old, and even earlier with smaller sized dogs. Both of my previous female poodles went into heat at 6 months old.
