Hello, There are several older posts saying not nice things about Sheepadoodles and I would like to say that mine are the best dogs I have ever had. The poodle DNA keeps them clever enough (for dogs)…Continue

Joanne ~ Spud* said… I had a doodle who could have been a sheepadoodle. She was very much loved around here. I miss her terribly. We love all dogs. No worries.
Welcome to DK.

Lucy & AnnaBelle's Mom said… There is one other member that I can think of that has a Sheepadoodle. It is the most adorable doodle ever! His name is Peebles. He looks like a Panda. I think it is "Margaret and Peebles" if you want to look them up under the member tab if you guys haven't already connected. I think that your doodles are adorable. I did not realize the OES were non shedding. We have one a couple houses down from us but he isn't very friendly. He is now behind a fence so we rarely see him, but previously he was on an electric fence and he would charge the border growling and barking like crazy when we walked by. Used to scare the crap out of me when we walked by with the dogs. He never broke the barrier though, he always stopped. Now we just hear him growling and jumping against the fence when we walk by.
Hi there, I was wondering what type of fur that they have. Is it a coarse hair like the OES or can it be fleece more like a humans hair? My friends have a Bernese Mountain dog and poodle mix that is only 8 months old so the fur type is not final as of yet. It seems very soft but is shedding fine hair. My golden doodle has fleece hair and is easy to brush through and matts are able to be controlled at home with brushing. I love the OES! I too think the conversations that were had on DK were about the people who breed poodle with anything for no apparent reason that to have a designer dog name attached to it. Even people who are breeding labradoodles and goldendoodles are unscrupulous at times claiming false benefits of the breeds that lead to too many "doodles" being given up when they grow up and don't meet the "STANDARD" of what they thought or were duped into believing there are.
