- Mother of Finn, an F1 English Goldendoodle born Jan 21, 2012. Live in CO with my 2 children (7 year old and 3 year old) and husband. Work from home business owner of a weight loss and weight loss surgery coaching and new healthcare technologies development company. I have a Master's in Health Psychology and focus on nutrition, exercise and general lifestyle and health management. Love hiking, camping, sewing and generally having fun!

- Finn is an F1 English Goldendoodle. Mom is a 50 pound cream English Golden and dad is a 15 pound black/white parti poodle. He is a very laid back, sweet little guy who has become my new shadow.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We recently lost our 90 pound german shepard/lab mix and were missing the energy in the house. We liked the idea of a big dog personality in a smaller, less shedding body! We do a lot of outdoor activities since we live in Colorado so we wanted a dog that could fit easily in the car with the kids and gear and then love getting out to hike and swim. A doodle seemed perfect for this.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Play and snuggle. Eventually we will take him hiking, camping and generally out and about.

Jarka, Monty & Auggie said… The second puppy will be from the same breeder, in fact, it will be Monty's half sister since dad is the same. She will be born in the middle of May. Our breeder is in Pueblo West. And yes, keeping a light colored doodle clean is always a challenge. I kind of gave up on that already, LOL. A hike would be nice.

Yes, please, definitely let me know if you hear of some fun events and once Finn is a bit older, perhaps we can meet up at some dog park. We are getting a second puppy in July, so we will have to wait with the meetings as well (or perhaps I can just see you with Monty and my husband will stay home with the new pup). We'll see. :-)
