- About Me:
- I'm a lonely dog lover seeking a new canine companion. An artist and homebody, I have time and lots of happy dog experience to provide. I'm a healthy 65 year old who finds it impossible to feel other than 18. I have one little rat terrier right now who is approximately 13 years. He's healthy, but has a hip joint dysplasia likely due to breeding. He loves to walk but the distance is much reduced. That is, unless I wish to carry him back home. He and I lost our friend, a bearded collie, 7 months back. We've begun our search. We want an older dog. 2-5 years who is healthy. We'd like to know their history. I'm able to train old dogs, so whatever habits might have been a frustration will likely be accepted.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Anubus, a rat terrier, lives here happily. He's still high energy at his advanced age. The grey around his muzzle is really the only evidence of his age. Anubus was abused. Found shot in an alley. He still has a hole in his ear but it is the only evidence of the trauma left. It took patient handling for more than a year to bring him around to looking people in the eye. He, more than me even, needs a dog friend.
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- The doodles I've met have the temperament and energy level to match my lifestyle. I like to walk and would love to have a large dog friend to venture with. I enjoy grooming more than having to track dust bunnies. I also want an intelligent dog. The poodles I've had were marvelously bright and clever. I've also owned a lab mix who, although not as energetic as I liked was a great mind reader. Brings to mind the rottie who I suspect was a boy in a dog suit. I'm a
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Talking to them would top the list. Walking. Grooming. Feeling the warmth and sharing the unconditional love dogs know so much about is everything.
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I would groom other than for the likely need for an annual summer clip.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- I'm unaware of doodle products. Likely I'll not be buying doodle this and that. I might, however do some doodles for my doodle.

- Married
- Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)
