Profile Information

About Me:: I live in the lovely resort city of Coeur d''Alene ID with my husband and our puppy Snickers. Growing up my husband had a goldendoodle but back in the early 70s they were called mutts. Snickers is our only child.

What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!: Irish Goldendoodle named Snickers. He is so friendly and loving and as we like to say too smart for his own good! He is also a VERY fast runner and loves to jump we think it is the Irish Setter in him.

Where did you get your doodle(s)?: Breeder

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?: My husband has had a goldendoodle and it was the greatest dog. I liked the combination of smarts and friendliness that are inherent in the breed. We feel the 1/4 Irish Setter in Snickers also gives him great traits from that breed.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?: Training with him is fun as well as playing and cuddling. Recently we have been teaching him to catch and it has been fun and challenging.

Does your doodle(s) shed?: A little bit but nothing major

Who grooms your doodle(s)?: Pets paws place

Favorite Doodle Products?: We love the Blue Buffalo line of products. Also Snickers is HUGE fan of Carnivore Crunch.

Happy 2nd Birthday Snickers

Saturday was Snickers 2nd Birthday, we spent time at the dog park and mom made him homemade Bow Wow Brownies. I was fortunate enough to take a dog cookie cooking class earlier this year and this is definitely one of Snickers favorite treats so it made sense to make them for his birthday.

My Mom was sick yesterday

My mom was very sick yesterday, my dad said it is something called the stomach flu, she did not look good at all.

Towards the end of the afternoon she went to her crate which is a lot bigger than mine and closed her door. I didn't know what to do, I sat outside the door for 2 hours waiting for my mom to come back out.

The Whistle

So my mom and dad have been trying to teach me to come when this loud sound comes out of this toy they put in their mouths, I think they call it a whissle.
