- Hi...I am married and we have 3 dogs and one cat. I love my pets. I'm originally from No. California, (Humboldt County), and have lived in the Portland OR area for 16 years. Would love to get to know other doodle owners locally. Wonder if any of the local doodle owners got theirs from the same breeder that we did.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have a 4 year old Cavapoo and just acquired a 3 month old male Labradoodle. The Cavapoo (Karmin) isn't tooo fond of the pup....who, but the way is named Tralfaz. We also have a 4 year old Maltese/Powderpuff Chinese Crested - so, obviously, she doesn't qualify as a doodle :-)
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Feedback from friends and people I've met out and about that have a doodle. Our cavapoo is the SWEEEETEST girl, but she's very shy and a bit overbonded....
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Snuggle, walks, I work from home full time so he hangs out in the office with me as well. Once he's fully vacinated, I want to put him in day care to give him a chance to play with dogs that want to play with him because neither of our other two dogs, at this point, want to do anything with him - other than growl.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!

Lonnie & Libby Lu said… How nice of you Rita! We used to go through Portand a lot when our daughter and son in law lived in Seattle and I always said I would love to live there! So beautiful! So far we have not done much traveling with Libby. She has anxiety in the car:(

Awwww, that is so sweet about the music. They are so incredible and sooo human! I agree about living closer, we meet so many wonderful people and Doodles on this site and it would be nice if we could all get together and visit and let our dogs "romp" and have fun!

Linda, Charlie Brown & Beau said… Rita ~ You asked what coat type Charlie has and he is considered wavy fleece in the ALD world. When I was researching the Australian labradoodle sites, I believe I read this type was the easiest to care for. However, I think labradoodles in general are high coat maintenance. I quickly brush Charlie before we start our day and one a week, line brush his whole body. He is the sweetest dood. Tralfaz is very cute. We will be getting another labradoodle week of Oct 9th. He is a male and should be the same size and coat type as Charlie. The sire is Charlie's dad. We are excited.
