Thanks for the Christmas wish! I'm so glad you're enjoying Maggie. It will be interesting to see how big all three littermates of Maggies are when they are grown. So far I can tell that the one girl will be much smaller than the boys. I see the two puppies that aren't out-of-state and they seek affection a lot more than our Baloo does. Baloo seeks other things more I think like treats, play, and hikes, although he is very attached to the family and is a "velcro" dog.

BTW, does Maggie pee a little when she is really excited (like meeting certain people at first?) The one little girl does when she sees my husband so they have them greet outside and then go inside. One of the littermates (a girl) from the first Springer/Poodle litter before Baloo still wee-wees a little when excited. I got my husband a book on dog behavior and it said that dogs sometimes produce a small amount of urine when greeting higher-ranking members of the pack or family to give a smelly clue that they (the dog) are not a threat. This could fit as the little girl dog, Daisy, knows her place in the pack. :)
