- I am a mom ot two children. Joshua age 11 and Natalie age 6. I work in my daughters school for 2 hours a day as a lunchroom monitor. I love seeing the kids and helping them. Extra perk is seeing my daughter everyday at school! I have a wonderful husband. We have been married for 14 years. We have a new member to our house. His name is Hurley. He is our Goodledoodle.

- We have a Goldendoodle named Hurley. We call him our Big Orange Moose. He has been going through a lot of issues. He has 6 large cysts on the top of his head. He is in need of an expensive surgery. I am in need of advice and support.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Our son has asthma and we found out that Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic. They also are such a beauiful breed of animal and so smart.

- Cuddle! He is my real live Teddy Bear!

Someone needs a bath...

Yes..it's Hurley...he is getting one tomorrow..it's time! I have been given the ok so he's getting in the bath tomorrow! It's a job! It takes a lot of water to get his coat wet..then bubbled up..I will take a picture tomorrow! He is so insulted when he is in the bathtub. That is the only time I think he is frowning. He looks like a different doodle when he is wet. All I notice is his big brown eyes staring sadly up at me...then after his bath I dry him off with the towel and he turns into the… Continue

What a wonderful day we had! I came onto to Doodle Kisses and saw you guys left me messages that you donated to Hurleys surgery! Thank you so much! We had one doodle, Quincy that even posted a picture of his piggy bank! That he emptied out for Hurley! My kids loved that picture! Of course, when we got home, they had to make a poster that said Thank You and I posted on our photo page!!

I think what I am going to start doing is keeping a blog!
Let everyone know how Hurley is doing and his vet appointments. The thing is, I want everyone to know how he is doing and what is going on. If it wasn't for this website..Hurley would not be on The Doodle Messenger. if it wasn't for the outpouring of love for Hurley, he wouldn't be getting donations for his surgery.
It's amazing to know that there are still such compassionate and caring people out there. I am always the person… Continue

Hurley is looking great. I am so very glad he is doing well. It was a long road, but you were courageous and steady. I hope you and your family have some really good times ahead, you have earned them.

I wanted to suggest that if you have not looked into getting health insurance for him, it would be very important to do that now. It will give you peace of mind knwoing that if Hurley ever gets sick or has an injury, you will easily be able to get him whatever treatment he needs without financial concerns. There is lots of great information here on DK about insurance, on company that seems to be very good is PetPlan. They have a column on the Doodles Messenger site and offer a discount if you use the word "Doodle" when you register. Perhaps you've seen that on the Messenger site, if not you may want to look at it.
Hoping for a quick and easy recovery for Hurley.

I often see you want to add pictures to your discussions but are unable to. I am the one who has added them for you. Well at least to 3 of them. The first night you became a member, the newspaper article, and the wonderful ice cream photo.
I made for you two pictures that give you two simple steps so you can try to add them whenever you wish :) It is easy. Give it a try.
1. Click on the picture in the tool bar--here is a picture circled in red
2. here is the next step. Once you click browse, go to the place in your computer and click on your own picture. Give it a few minutes to load. That's it! Let me know if you need more help.
