Hi Paula
How are you and your family? We haven't heard from you for a while, wondering if everything is okay. How's Sydney doing? is she being a good girl? Mochi is a little monster sometimes that we really have no idea how to train him, I guess it's the teenager thing, I'm hoping he will calm down a little bit when he gets older. (I know! I wanted a energetic boy but Mochi's too much than what I've expected for!)
Mochi weighted 45lb at 9months. I'm guessing Sydney's not even 30lb yet?
Hi Paula and Sydney!!

Paula, Please post more pictures of Sydney. How much does she weigh? Alma is at 39 lbs at almost 9 months. All the males from the litter are now on DK. We would love to hear more about Alma's sister.

I took Alma in at 8 am and picked her up at 4 pm the same day. That first night she was up at 11, 2 and 5 to go outside. I wonder if the medication makes her thirsty because she has to go out more during the day I have noticed. The t-shirt is working great for us. She was scratching with her back legs where they shaved her so she was getting really raw. She pretty much leaves her stitches alone. When I run errands I put her cone on to make sure she can't get at them. You must be so happy not to have to carry Sydney down the stairs every time she has to go out now. We have stairs up to our bedroom so every morning and evening we have to carry her up and down. I'm so glad she only weighs 30 lbs. I don't know how I would manage if she were bigger! Please post more pictures of Sydney. She's so cute.

How is Sydney doing? Alma was spayed on Monday : ( We are 3 days into it and she is doing well but hates her cone. Did Sydney have to wear one or did she leave her incision alone? I put a t-shirt on Alma to keep her away from her stitches during the day when I am around. She keeps taking me to the door to take her for a walk. She must think I am a crazy person to forget to take her on walks now. She looks so sad. I can't wait to get back to our old routine.

Mochi had stomach problem last Friday, so the vet suggested us to get him neutered later, which the new date will be on 9/14. Did Sydney cry when she saw you leaving her? Mochi makes the baby crying sound whenever I'm out of his sight. I don't know how he's going to go through this without me :(
It's really sad that they have to go through surgery pain, but it's for their good.
We already got a cone for Mochi, I think he's going to need it, or at least when he's almost recovered his skin will be itchy and he might want to lick it.
Give Sydney lots of hugs and kisses from us, hope she'll recover soon and never feel the pain.
Just thinking of you and Sydney- Sending lots of good wishes! I know how lonely it seems when they are not with us - We had to put Toby in boarding a couple of nights this past month, and boy, was it lonely. It's amazing how they have become so much a part of our everyday lives. I felt so lost without him! I can imagine how quiet and lonely it must have seemed with her away. But, I'm sure she had the best of care and will be feeling better in no time! :-)
Hi Paula,
Seems like just yesterday you were waiting for Sydney to get home and now surgery already! Time really does go by fast! Let us know how she is doing.
Just like little kids, they are a lot of work and time, but when they are gone we sure do miss all of it!!
