Hi everyone. Can you help me? I have an 11 yr old Golden Retriever bitch, a 2 year old Golden Retriever bitch who is a bit of a handful at times and my darling Archie a 15 week old black Labradoodle. We have made a super little group but I'm in a bit of a dilema. Archie's brother was to go to a home but at the last minute this fell apart. Hi - My grandmother was a Lackenby. We've been tracing our family tree and found that ALL Lackenby's around the world originate from Lackenby in the North of England. I'm new to the site and would love to know if there are other doodle mad Lackenby's out there. Would love to get in touch. Pat, Archie and 'sisters'.

- My name is Pat, I'm 54, single, and thankfully don't work any more. I've loved dogs all my life and have never been without one. At the moment I have 3. I do voluntary work now for Guide Dogs and have made some wonderful friends both 2 legged and 4 legged, or should it be the other way!!!
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have Archie who is an F3 black doole. He is 14 weeks and has a lovely soft waved coat. I also have 2 Golden Retrievers - Lily who is 11 this year and my 2 year old hooligan Megan.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I chose a doodle because I lost my lovely 14 year old Golden Retriever and wanted a new dog for my other girls (and me!)but not a 'replacement'. I have some friends with a wonderful black doodle. I knew from being with her what lovely natures they have and are just the right size.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- My groomer comes to the house and does all my dogs.
