- New Doodle Mom to 2 Doodles! I am a Professional Pet Sitter in Central Flroida, Director of Small Breed Rescue, Adoring Dogma to many Furbabies as well as a Foster Mom to several rescued furries, Loving Wife to Mike and proud Grandmother to 7 two-legged babies.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Callie, is a Female, 6 month old Mini Labradoodle who is Apricot in color and Jake, our 5 month old Goldendoodle boy is a medium and is cream in color with a rose nose and "ghost eyes". Jake is sweet, cuddly, and full of puppy energy. He is loving, very smart and loves to try to outsmart us alot of the time but is always funny. Callie is a good listener and is eager to please it seems. She listens the first time, everytime and is very affectionate, silly and playful. Jake and Callie love each other very much. My hubby and I are enjoying both of the Doodles!
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We had a pet sit client that was a Goldendoodle and fell in love with the breed. Having acquired Callie and Jake, our Doodles, we think the Doodle delivers the best of both worlds.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We love spending time just watching them play together! They have such a unique bond with each other. They are playful but gentle with our smaller dogs. It's funny to watch! They love to go places where they meet new people and other dogs. So far, only to the vets office, groomer and the "puppy toy store". They are getting use to the car rides now and get excited to go bye-bye.

- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Me so far but will use our favorite groomer as needed

Yes that is a great idea about the vaccinations. Prudence is 8 months old she is a F2 Labradoodle. When she was 12 weeks old I took her to Bark Central for two months. She was very small and they had her on the small dog side which was ok until she started to get bigger. I wanted to take her on the big dog side and I did not like the way they handeled the transfer. I had been warned by the small dog owners that their are some gruesome fights on the big dog side. The problem is that Bark Central allows too many shady dogs in there. So I quit going. It was always a lot of older people with big dogs they couldn't control.
I'm currently in the process of searching for a good oedience school for her. She is very large and unruley mainly because of her HIGH energy.
I know there are other Doodle owners here because my Prudence is from a second litter and her Breeder lived here in Inverness. They however due to family illness had to quit breeding and I haven't been able to contact her. Her husband had several health problems and was in Shands for a long time. I left them alone because I know she was going through a lot and my desire to meet Prudences family seemed unimportant compared to their problems.
I sent a couple friend requests to people I found here in the county so we'll see what kind of response we can get. Maybe we can form our own little playdate groups, of course once Jake is ready. So nice to meet you! we'll have to remain in touch for sure!

I have two Goldendoodles now, we just added a 2nd 2 months ago,due the fact that we loved our 1st one so much!
I also am a Pet Sitter and have my own company, just starting out really so maybe we can share tips and information..? How long have you been doing it?
