- I am a 5 Year Breast Cancer Warrior!
I grew up With Springers. When my childhood Springer died We wanted a great dog for kids...We got our 1st Flat Coated Retriever...then our 2nd...we Lost her- Our Angel at the young age of 4 to Cancer. We got another & just recently lost her to Cancer also. Although she lived to be almost 11.
They were all Wonderful Dogs.
Now, I decided to make my My Home a Forever Doodle home... we found Trixie (Bringer of Joy) She has already brought me so much Joy.

We also have a Lovebird....Well, its the Kids Lovebird & they did not take it with them when they moved out this past fall.

- I do. I comb her out every 2nd or 3rd day. Trixie Sheds Like Crazy!

Celebrating 5 Years!

On March 7th I Celebrated my 5 year Cancerversary.
it was a Major Milestone...More important to me then my Big Birthday last November.
(I got Trixie as a gift to me to Celebrate my 3 year Cancerversary 2 years ago)
Trixie means Bringer of Joy...And she has lived up to her name.

I could not shake my sadness yesterday. I started missing my sister who I lost 15 years ago. I played some of the music I loved that reminded me of her, Toast & Marmalade for Two, Stoned Loved...

I use Bee MP3 to get my songs. Then copy and paste the URL's. Thing is, there are a lot of new songs out that I like, but some have either un-doodle appropriate lyrics, or I can't remember the songs name ! LOL
I love any song with Armando Pérez.... aka Pitbull :)

OMD, Pam, I know what you mean about posed pictures. My DD and I have chronic migraines and it seems we never get outside to get candid shots. It's crazy. Maybe if we didn't have migraines we wouldn't do any better. haha. By the way, I love your music. Blunt's Your Beautiful is one of my all time favorites.

Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… Pam, I just saw your update - I have been out of town and missed dk for days - seems like years! I am glad that Trixie is fine now. Dogs just don't have the same pain we get with teeth. Ned was hungry right away also. I cannot believe $48 for antibiotics. It must be where you live. We just took our Springer to a dermatologist specialist and his antibiotics for 30 days was $25.

Trixie is sooo beautiful ! It was the name of my very first dog when I was a child. Sorry to hear about Trixie's tooth. I didn't know breaking those back teeth could happen due to chewing the hard bones and antlers. Finnley just got her first antler, and I constantly updater her huge, hard marrow bones, and then there is all the rocks she tries to chew outside. Good grief, now what ! :) I'll be keeping a close watch on everyone's post's to your forum. Good luck with Trixie.
