- We thought we had a labradoodle, but had a DNA breed test done and found out we have a "rottendoodle" a Rottweiler/Poodle/Australian Shepherd mix. We did get him at the pound thinking that he looked like a labradoodle, but surprise! He was born January 12, 2008. His name is Puddles and he lives with Steve and Natalie and Madeline and Eric. He is a great asset to our family and makes us laugh every day! Oh, and Madeline named him Puddles because we brought him home on a rainy day : ) He actually house trained really fast.

- Puddles loves swimming at the lake and playing with the kids. He also is a great hiker in the Boise foothills and is his happiest when we are going on an adventure. He is so cute riding in the car and loves to go bye-byes, even if it is just a little errand. He is very social and great with new people and other dogs. He really thinks he is one of the kids : )

- Thanks!! Glad to hear puddles is doing so well. Giada has also mellowed.................so awesome to have such a well behaved dog now. I'm sure we'll have some sort of a celebration on her birthday. My other dog's birthday is a couple weeks later!!

Sorry about the new food issue with Puddles. Rosco had some food aggression directed at Thule at one point--she just had to be NEAR him when I started scooping food and he'd try to attack her, but with some work that is not a problem anymore. Some of it was on-leash exercises and some of it maybe was just him realizing his food wasn't disappearing because Thule was nearby.
