- About Me:
- I recently transfered to the GM plant in Lordstown. The Janesville GM plant closed 12-23-08. Our goldendoodle , Snickers, is 2+ years old. She is constantly putting smiles on our faces!!

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I applied to adopt a rescue doodle, and it had already found a home. I was hooked on the idea of having a doodle, and found a local breeder that had pups.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Walks, fetch tennis ball, go for a car ride...

- A little bit but nothing major

Ice Ice Baybe/GOB's
A POEM, BY MY SISTER (AKA KRIS HOMSTAD)
Ice Ice Baybe
The picture topic was DOODS n SPORTS,
And Nance and Hel had ideas of all sorts.
Deciding they would go ice fishing,
They got together their props and things.
With Mom & I watching through the window,
The gals set out to make a video.
The neighbors constantly woofing hound,
Kept barking as they goofed around.
They wanted to title it: "Grumpy Old Bitches",
We saw quite alot of their rumps of their britches!
We thought that was funny,

Thanks for the compliment on Bailey! The booties are by MuttLuks. I got them at PetSmart. Lots of online places have them, too. Without the booties Bailey's paw pads would get cut up from the snow/ice. They prevent ice balls from building up in between his toes, too. Also, they use salt on the roads here & we didn't want that to damage his paws. The booties give him great traction & protection when he's romping around - he runs noticeably faster with them on. We're very pleased with them. Good luck!

Thanks for letting me know the brush arrived....I'm so glad you like it. That's funny about Snickers helping you open the box....she must have smelled the scent of my doodles....they lay here in the office while I work. :-)

Ann (Giesige) Kendig said… - Hi Nancy, thanks for the compliment on my doods. You have some great pictures. My Labradoodle Duke has allergies. I've decided to have him tested. Hopefully that will be in January or February. There is a discussion in the Health & Medical Issues group that you may find of interest. It is in the discussion forum. It's called," Is it time to do allergy testing and if so what kind". I'm not saying that Snickers needs testing by any means but it may be of interest to you! Happy Holidays!!!
