I have been using Frontline on both Oliver and Ivy and have never had any issues with ticks.  1.5 weeks ago, I took the dogs on a trail in the woods off leash.  I did check for ticks and did not see any.  3 days later, I pulled a tiny tick off of my belly that was just starting to bloat (yuck, yuck)!  2 days ago, I pulled a fully bloated tick off of Ivy's head and yesterday I pulled a fully bloated tick which exploded off of Oliver's head.  There was alot of blood all over his fur, it was…See More

Welcome! Be sure to read the link to DRC ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. http://doodlerescue.org/notes/DRC_ADOPTION_POLICIES_AND_PROCEDURES especially noting children’s age minimum.
The Adoption application form is at the top of the page.
Check the DRC ADOPTABLE PETS on our home page. When you are looking at the Adoptable Pet pictures, notice that the two letters in front of the dog’s name mean the state they are being fostered in. While the DRC allows out of state applicants, they cannot transport the rescues and will not let them fly, so you need to be within driving distance of the foster.
Other suggestions to find a rescue doodle: click on the REGIONAL LISTINGS section http://doodlerescue.org/groups/doodlesinneedinnorthamerica ; and check PETFINDER (putting in all zip codes within driving distance); also GOOGLE in shelters and humane societies within your driving range. Check back often.
pirate welcome to drc
