Bark Collars-Sonic or citronella?

Lucy is five months old already and is about to complete her puppy class.  We have worked on basic training and have mastered most of it.  Barking tends to be an issue when Lucy sees other dogs when she is outside in the back yard mainly and once and awhile in the house looking out.  Never when I am standing beside her.  The trainer advised me to look into a citronella collar however after doing some online reading I am wondering if a sonic collar might be a better option.  Any…See More

Read the side of the package.  It has been awhile since I feed a little puppy. Fromms is great on telling you how many cups/age/pounds.

The Food Group here on DK is very active and helpful with all of this.

Great Food.  If she likes it, don't change.  With Fromms, you can change the the variety without making the dog sick.  For example, Chicken, then Lamb, then Fish. Maybe changing the flavor, without changing the brand.

They do that. The eating poop thing.  Never heard of the pineapple but I have heard of adding plain yogurt.  It is good for them too.

My only other suggestion--clean it up fast.

You may want to introduce better food. I know, the older dogs across the street stopped eating poop when the food quality was given.

Don't know what you are feeding?   You can join the food group and research quality foods there.

We feed Acana.  It is much more expensive however, they eat less. It all works out.

With better quality, they poop less!!! Less clean up  :)

How's it going Molly?   Since the first week is behind you hoping things are settling.  It is like bringing home a new baby.   Fun but trying.

Now, you only have to move on to the biting stage.  The little puppy monsters. UGH!  But I know she is cute and is winning your heart and the boys heart.  Has she learned to play ball with them yet.

Just stopping in to say hi and hoping all is well
