- About Me:
- I work at an art and photography digital printing company and I am very honored to have my goldendoodle in my life. He is my joy and companion. I take him to work with me often and everyone here loves it when he comes to visit each person in their office before he settles down next to my desk. I have had other dogs in my lifetime but have such a special connection with this one. He seems to know my every feeling and thought.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- I have Cooper my 90 pound Goldendoodle and he is a therapy dog on the Pet Prescription Team. We visit children at a hospital in LA and also visit a retirement home nearby. He sits with the kids when they get chemo treatments and tries to make it all a little easier for them. I also have a mix breed male, Henry. He is chihuahua and jack russell. We call him King Henry and he does rule!
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Pet store
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I knew that I wanted to do dog therapy work and researched the breed. I had a breeder picked out but my daughter convinced me to go see one first that she saw at a pet store. He had the best temperment and was so loving from the very beginning. He was the one for me.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We go for a long walk every day and when we can he likes to run on the beach. His loves to play ball though I do not always get it back. Squeaky toys are his favorite. He acts like he is talking with them so he has a voice. Every morning we play a blueberry game where I roll blueberries across the floor for him to catch. He loves that game and it makes me laugh every time. He enjoys playing with other dogs too.
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I use Furry Friend Spa in Anaheim
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- He has a diver's license tag which everyone seems to like and it sparks conversaiton. He also wears his therapy vest with pride. Dingo bones are a big plus with him and well as any dog biscuit really. He barks and looks over at the cannister and raisis his eyebrow when he wants one.
