Congratulations! I am sure you will be really happy with your new addition. I got Maya last year, she was from Rain and Joque litter in July. I think yellow must be the color she was the yellow female. Have fun and enjoy they grow up so fast.

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We had a standard poodle when I was growing up, although I always wanted a golden Retriever, although I just didn't want that big of a dog. I had a friend that has a Labradoodle and just loved it. After doing some research I decided a Mini Goldendoodle would be best for me. They are so sweet and loveable.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Go for a walk.

- Most retrievers calm down around 2 years, though for our lab/golden cross it was more like age 5! Bella's fur has been so trying for us, we're used to shedding short haired dogs. Though she doesn't shed fur, we have found that she DOES shed leaves, dirt, sticks, and the occasional bug. Everything just sticks to her like a magnet! So, we just gave up on the daily brushing, cleaning, and general disgust to try shaving her down all but her tail and face. It is fantastic! She feels like fleece and hardly ever gets dirty anymore! My mom says she has finally bonded with Bella now, because we were always half repulsed to pet her (wondering what we'd find). Now we can actually see the dog under that hair and, though she's the same dog, she seems so different. Anyway, we have only taken her in about three or four times since we got her, but will be taking her in more frequently now that we love the short do.

- I LOVE maya's picture, she is so cute. happy holidays, by the way! How large is maya? How fast did she grow? My soon to be daughter-in-law's family just got a mini goldendoodle because they liked bella so much, and were told that she would probably reach about 30lbs. So far they've had her 4 weeks (she is now 3 months old) and she has gained about 1 lb, making her a wopping 8lbs! She is tiny! Is your Maya this small?
