- About Me:
- I'm a working mother and wife who enjoys reading, gardening, photography, cooking, and crap reality TV. I spend every spare moment sitting on my back porch with a cheesy piece of garbage book, a cigarette, and a cup o' hot joe. I tend to relate more with my dogs than I do my kids.....they're college students and remind me as often as possible that I DON'T know as much as I think I do. I am currently discussing the pros and cons of Valium with my family doctor.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Stanlee as an F1 labradoodle born March 2012. He lives with his "brother" Cooper, an 8 year old St. Bernard mix, Joshua, a 13 year old cat with little to no patience, Lucy, a blue-fronted amazon that hates every single living soul on the face of the planet, and Sid Vicious, the coolest ginuea pig in the world. There is a tank full of "fair fish" (goldfish brought home from the county fair) in the game room but they pretty much keep to themselves.
14 weeks – 31 pounds
17 weeks – 35 pounds
19 weeks – 43½ pounds
23 weeks – 50½ pounds
24½ weeks – 53½ pounds
34 weeks - 61 pounds
45½ weeks - 70 pounds and 28½ inches tall at the withers

- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- I am a huge fan of the rough-coated/wiry-haired dogs. When I saw a picture of Stanlee's face it was love at first sight. Hope he feels the same way.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We swim in the "pool", play fetch, woller on the floor together, and cuddle. He's a very layed back guy for such a youngster.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Yes!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I groom my doodle daily because he sheds like a cat!
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Kong products, Ding Dog Bells, and Penn (he loves tennis balls.)

Hello. I read your post that you have every Dean Koontz book written, and it is great to meet another DK (DoodleKisses or Dean Koontz) fan. I also have all of his books, but my favorites are Watchers and Corner of His Eye. I love the series for Odd Thomas and am a little disappointed that I cannot get Deeply Odd as an E-Book. Also, I have read all of the books in the Frankenstein series which I thought I would not like, but I did. So, have you done any reading with time travel? That's another one of my favorites.
No sign of shedding over here, yet, but he still has his puppy coat. Our main problem is this biting thing--my right hand looks like it's been repeatedly stabbed with a fork! We might just bypass "soft mouth" training and move directly to NO TEETH ever!
Thanks, Marnie. He's a real charmer. After several days breaking it down I think he's almost ready to add rolling over to his mastery of come, sit, and down. I feel oddly proud! Now we have to stop the too-hard mouthing!
