- About Me:
- My husband and I want a dog so badly that we are going to sell our co-op (no dogs allowed) and purchase a 3-family house with a nice big yard.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- None yet but we're looking forward to purchasing a Doodle of one kind or another in the next 6-12 months.
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We've determined that either a GD or a LD would be best as we prefer big, active, friendly, smart dogs with similar looks. We can't wait but we need to make the right decision on where to get our Doodle, how to train, feed, and raise him, and everything in between.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We're looking forward to bringing our Doodle everywhere with us! I'm a local real estate broker, and weekdays, my Doodle will come to the office with me, out on appointments, and even running in the park. Evenings are relaxing at home, mostly, where we enjoy a calm, quiet environment. Weekends, we plan to bring our Doodle on car rides to the beach, hiking, socializing with other dogs, and generally being very active.

Congrats on getting a house and looking to getting a dog. This is a great place to learning about doodles - even a guideline for choosing a breeder. There are many groups that you can join. For example, there are groups for grooming, nutrition, health/medical, types of doodles, puppy groups etc. Look at the top of your page and click on Groups - check them out. Enjoy!
