My heart breaks when I see posts from owners looking to rehome their dogs. I don't get a chance to log-on to Doodle Kisses often. And almost every single time I log-on, I see a post from someone looking to rehome their dog.

Apollo is doing great! I can't believe he's almost 8 months old. My kids who were 2 and 5 when we brought him home are now 3 and 6 and they adore Apollo. I've been missing on Doodle Kisses, because I've been recovering from major surgery over the summer. I couldn't walk Apollo for about 8 weeks, so my husband had to walk him. He would come in complaining about how awful their walks were becoming with all of the leash pulling. One day he actually gave up during a walk and just let him run…

Apollo will be 13 weeks old on Saturday. It's hard to believe that he's been with us for almost 5 weeks. Like most new puppies, he spent the first few days laying around quietly...waiting to let it all out! By day 4 with us he went from 1 to 10! Nipping, jumping, etc. We love him, puppy behavior and all.
I've figured out that the more exercise he gets the easier it is for him to settle down at bedtime. I've found it hard to get adequate exercise when we can't take him on walks through…

We brought our chocolate Australian Multigen Labradoodle, Apollo, home 2 weeks ago. We are so in love, puppy behavior and all! It reminds me of when we brought each of our 2 children home from the hospital...I thought: "I can do this all over again, immediately!"...then reality set in in! Well, we're already thinking about puppy #2, but we're definitely planning to wait until Apollo is at least 18-24 months. Maybe reality will set in and I'll think otherwise:) I know I'm not the only crazy… Continue

IBD in dogs is very similar to Crohn's disease in humans in many ways. Before he was diagnosed, a few people thought the symptoms sounded like Crohn's.
