Lovely family!! I see you have other pets besides Ruby (I assume Ruby is the dog?) Does she get along with your other pets well?

What a beautiful family! I love the photos of Ruby and the girls. :) I'm happy to see that you joined the Photography Group. We have a lot of fun with our monthly topics/challenges. :)

Buddy wants to wish Ruby a Happy 5th Birthday too!!!! She is such a beauty :)

I also enjoyed The Art of Racing in the Rain. Another book I just finished is The Darkest Evening of the Year by Dean Koontz. It is about golden retriever rescue (among other things). I enjoy Koontz, but he is a little scary for many readers. Don't recommend reading his books before bed if you tend to dream about things in the books you are reading. Koontz is a real dog lover and especially goldens. My other favorite author is Paulo Coelho and his books are somewhat autobiographical but also metaphysical. I also buy lots of paperbacks at Borders. It is one of my regular stops when I walk the dogs and am waiting for my husband after his bike rides.

Welcome to the Book Loving Doodlers group. Is Ruby your goldendoodle? Have you got a second doodle yet? I strongly recommend two if you are away during the day. Our doodles also need companionship. My two are totally engrossed in each other and are lost when one of them in gone. Hondo is 7 years and Groucho Too is 4 years. In the meantime, what great books have you been reading? Any dog books?

Yes I see your group...you just have to flip through the group pages to find it or use the drop down menu to view the groups in order of "latest activity" so it pops up first.

So I wrote you a message in the text box that you have control over in the group...just gives instructions on how to do stuff in the group. You can delete what I wrote and do your own thing in there.

Finally, you can change the group's logo/photo by clicking on "edit group" and selecting a photo of your dood with kids =)
