Oh yes! What a day! Today was a beautiful moonlight morning and the dogs were enthusiastic to go out so I let them out at 2:30 with moonshadows on the deck. Harpo immediately jumped over the fence which he has been doing recently to chase a cat. I called and waited several minutes and Groucho came into the house. I went back to bed thinking Harpo would come to the door soon, but he did not. At 3:00 I got back up and went out to call him again. Still no Harpo, so I got my robe and…

Lynette Main said… Just saw your Doodle Romp pictures. They were great. We need to arrange one here in Ohio. There seems to be a lot of Doodles here in Ohio. Have a great summer...
Laurie, Fudge & Vern said… Lynda, I think you might be able to make those blankets on Shutterfly, too. Let me know if you make one!!
Lucy & AnnaBelle's Mom said… Thank you Lynda. We are going to be doing a little garden spot in the yard in Sophies memory. We got several gifts from friends that included bulbs and flowers which is what got us started on that idea. I think a stone would be lovely in there as well. I can't even imagine the loss of a child, as the loss of Sophie was hard enough. Right now our house is so full of love and joy with Honey and the new puppy that it is hard to be sad, and the wonderful memories of Sophie become a part of many conversations these days.
Laurie, Fudge & Vern said… Thank you, Lynda, about the blanket. They are so EASY to do and I do them at Walmart Photo (on line). You just need to download up to 30 pictures and decide your layout and text and background color and next thing you know you have a wonderful blanket. I am sure Ronna would love a giclee of Murphy. My husband said people comment all the time on the lovely one you did of Vern. He fought me for it and took it to his office. Thank you!
Debi and Monty Moose said… Wow...this is interesting. I did look this up and it did say that they can wear teeth down, but mostly with the ones that really chew on them or those that are totally ball crazy and continually have one in their mouths. Luckily, Monty is neither of those types of dog. He isn't even much of a retriever when it comes to balls. He much prefers things he is not supposed to have....like my husbands socks! Thanks for sharing, Lynda. You learn something new everyday.
Debi and Monty Moose said… Hey Lynda! Tennis balls are the least of my worries with Monty. This boy will chew on trees if given the chance! But, I am curious as to where you heard that tennis balls could wear down the teeth? I did Golden Rescue for 13 years and have never heard that. Of course with Goldens...you HAVE to have tennis balls around. My Mackenzie is tennie ball crazy! Monty has not showed too much interest in them...except for a game once in a while. Seems that the Kongs and bones he chews on would be harder on his teeth than tennis balls. I also saw on your bio that your Doodles love Frosty Paws. Oh my goodness.....that is a favorite around here! They both seem to know when I have bought them too. These guys are way toooooo funny!

Sheila said… Thanks, Lynda, but I think I may have a puppy lined up. When he is a little older, I will definitely join in on ome doodle romps. I will be posting a question to everyone about puppy training and good vets in my area, as I try to prepare for the new family member.
Hey I'ma teacher, too - going down to 3/5th time next year!
Alicia CDOTSD said… yes a bordoodle would be high energy. We like that for service dog work. But I imagine the border collie and poodle intelligence together would be AMAZING
Joanna, Zoe & Bender said… yes I LOVE the conclusion too!!!!
