Any other doodles out there from Spring Creek in Oregon? Would love to hear about other "relatives" and "friends." My Ozzie is a Jilin-Trusty pup (F1B black) shown in the picture.
On October 10 there will be a walk in Los Gatos, CA and several other locations throughout the US. The purpose is to raise awareness of cancer in dogs and the work that is being done at the Morris Foundation for K9 Cancers. My contact in the effort…
Yes, I was just thinking about that today since Ozzie gets bits of cheese sticks for training treats (high value!). I will research hyperlipidemia in dogs!
Good question. Here is what I found by Googling:
tomatoes can be fatal to dogs Tomatoes (plant and fruit) contain tomatine, an alkaloid related to solanine. As the fruit ripens, the tomatine is metabolized. Therefore, ripe tomatoes are less likely…

As long as she seems OK, I wouldn't worry. However the problem with those bones is that they splinter as they eat them and sometimes can cause intestinal performations or blockages-at least that is what I have heard. Even if Ozzie would, I don't thi…

Ozzie is an F1B labradoodle from Spring Creek Labradoodles in Oregon. He was my retirement gift to myself since there was no time during my professional career for a doggie. Now he is the most important little boy in my life. He is 4 years old. We are a certified Delta Society Pet Partner team for complex facilities. We visit nursing homes and participate in a READ program for 5th-6th graders. We do competition and he now has a Rally Excellent title as well as his CD title for novice obedience. He is an agility dropout! We are now working towards the CDX for advanced obedience.

Did I answer your question or were you meaning something else by "visibility"? I suppose since you are seeking a response of some kind...the forum might be better.
The reason I call it a 'personal blog' is to distinguish it from the forum. Think of the "Forum" as a community forum where you bring things you want others to hear about, know about, discuss, or when you need advice. Versus the 'blog' which is more of a log of your thoughts, stories, things that don't require discussion or advice. But it is not 'personal' to the extent that nobody reads it. Blogs are quite popular on DK and are shown on the main page just like discussion forum posts. So it just depends on how you present the info where it is more appropriate. Either will get visibility but how much visibility just depends on how much people are interested in the topic. Make the headline eye catching and you'll get more readers.
Hi Lucy!!! So sorry I forgot to respond. I was on vacation when you posed this question and I don't normally check my profile page as often as my inbox. You are welcome to post in the Forum (if it's not too late) and just categorize it appropriately in the category section. OR if you want to turn it into your personal blog then you can post it as a blog instead. Whichever you prefer.
Lucy,
Thanks for the friend request. Ozzie looks amazing and very accomplished! I love the picture of him with his medal. Looking forward to meeting both of you.
Pam
There are few programs in our area and only Delta goes beyond State lines. I will have to see if there is another program in Bend, Oregon where I spend a lot of time.
Doodle romp on Crissy Field... across from the Sports Basement this Sunday June 13th at 9 AM. My brother, Koopi will be there too. Can you and Ozzie come on Sunday? Sparky will be there early.
Hi Lucy,
Welcome, I love Ozzie's adventures. I'm interested in the Delta society and other activities that you are involved in. We just started Agility last night. Will you be at Ft. Funston this Sunday? Would love to meet you.
