I live in Robins, Iowa a town touching Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My two kids are all grown. I am a registered nurse. I love watching the food network and trying out new cuisine recipes, working out in the yard and spending time with my husband and two dudes.

Double doodle family! Proud owner of a F1 Standard Goldendoodle puppy "Lexie".She was born 6/7/08. She is the off spring of Kate and Reggie. Added another F1 Standard Goldendoodle puppy "Zoey".She was born 2/12/09. She is the off sping of Kate and Aladdin. They are from the breeder Christine Phillips "The Paw Pad" in Deer Creek, IL- Christine is really great to work with. Three of her puppies were chosen for the doodle calendars. Lexie was chosen for the Dec 2009 calendar.

Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?

I had a golden retriever and my husband grew up with a family poodle.

What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

We have a newly fenced in yard, they loves to go outside and explore without being on a leash. Lexie loves the fleece squirrels in the tree-but they are gone now.... she chewed them up one by one! We will have to buy some for Zoey. Hiding the squirrels around the house and have her find them. Now Lexie finds the tough toys. Fleece doesn't last around her anymore!
