Some of you may remember that Webber and Seda took part in the studies at the Duke Cognition Center. The book, The Genius of Dogs (How Dogs Are Smarter than You Think), by Brian Hare, came out of…Continue

Joy said… Webber should be a "cruise director" LOL. Any therapy ops for that, haha.
Kerilynn and Ovie said… Thanks, we are so excited to meet Ovie and bring her home! :) I'm sure we will find Doodle Kisses very resourceful.
Newfoundland IS a beautiful place. I'm sure I will take tons of photos of Ovie for you guys to see! :)
Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… P.S. I love your new page decoration. I cannot believe how beautiful Seda turned out to be. I knew she was a pretty pup, but wow! she is extraordinary.
Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… You know, I have always ridden short distances on the back of the bike but was really terrified of going on the freeway or at high speeds. I thought I just would not be able to go on trips. It turns out that I LOVE it. You really see, smell, 'feel' the places you are traveling through and I adore taking pictures as we go along. I take about 4 times as many as I end up with, but some are really keepers and I am always so surprised because my camera is an older point and shoot and we are going on some bumpy roads. We have a new member and when I was introduced to him, he said, "Oh I heard all about you even before I joined the club." Scary.....

Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… We just got back and it is back to the real world and the final stages of getting ready for my mom's estate sale. We had a great time! Now I know why you don't live in so. Cal any more. The fall colors were just breath-taking. We rode out just ahead of the predicted first snow storm of the season. I was told that would be the end of the gorgeous fall leaves. This pic is blurry but the way the aspens cascade down the mountains was so amazingly beautiful. At first neither Skip nor I knew what the color ribbons were. Then we got close enough to see......
Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… I am finally having an estate sale for my mom. I hired a woman who is also a realtor here. I have been going through my mom's things for over two weeks and think I am finally done. Then we will get things ready to rent her home out. We are leaving Thursday for a 4 day motorcycle trip to Mammoth Lakes. I am really looking forward to it.
Nina, Phil, Harlow & Lacey said… Linda, I am so sorry for all the confusion. :( I was afraid a few folks might have missed the late double change of venue. I would have loved to have seen you and your doods. I hope you and the other doodle owner had a nice mini-romp.
Nancy, Ned, and Clancy said… Haven't spoken with you in such a long time. I hope all is well with you and Webber and Seda. I am having fun looking at your pictures again.

Today I brought home my first short-term foster baby for DRC. His name is Baxter and he is 16 weeks old. He is chalk in color, has a silky soft fleece coat, a black nose and he is a first generation Goldendoodle. I will only have him temporarily, as I am flying to California in a few weeks, but I wanted you all to start filling out your applications!! Right now he is in North Carolina, but he may be heading North soon. Now, here are the first shots of this adorable Dood. He is aprox.…

Subaru sponsored a dog show today and I took Webber. Out of aproximately 50 dogs, he got into the final five. There was an absolutely adorable Goldendoodle there that I couldn't stop watching...he was so cute! The prizes were $150.00 gift certificates to Target for two winners; Best in Show and Most P…
