- About Me:
- I was born and raised in Montana, and then moved to Seattle after a divorce. I have since remarried and after retiring four years ago, my husband and I moved to eastern Washington and built a new home. We love the sunshine.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Charlie is a multi-generational Australian labradoodle. He is now 1 yr. and 10 mos. old and we cannot imagine life without him. He is such a gentle soul and loves everyone. Update: Oct. 11, 2012 ~ we picked up a brother for Charlie. His name is Beau and he is 10 weeks old. He is also an ALD.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We had a beautiful black standard poodle who passed away in 2010. We were so depressed and knew we did not want to be without a dog. I started doing research on breeds that were non shedding and hypo allergenic. When we came upon the Labradoodle, we knew that was it.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We take lots of walks. He has a favorite toy and is always wanting to bring it along. When at home, he wants to play fetch and loves balls of any kind! We have taken the puppy class and Charlie received his Canine Good Citizen badge at 8 months old. He is a cuddle bug and every morning he asks to come up our bed and he then proceeds to snuggle in for another hr of sleep. We love it!
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I brush them first thing in the a.m. and Charlie goes to the groomer every 2 - 3 months.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Les Pooches brush and shampoo products.
- Relationship Status:
- Married
- Would you be willing to Dog Sit on occasion for other DoodleKisses members? (You are NOT committing to anything by saying yes - you are just saying you might be willing to do this if you were acquainted with the other member and the circumstances were right.)

At first we were just talking and were curious about our puppies temperament test. One by one, all the test scores were exactly the same. This can't be a coincidence and we just feel Manor Lake is just sending out the same test score to the owner and aren't actually doing any temperament test. So, this is why I'm asking other Manor Lake owners about the test.

Seamus & Haidee said… Hi Linda- I picked up Seamus yesterday and gave him a big hug and kiss and nearly blew out my back. Haha! He is getting so big and I too hope that he stops around 40 lbs like his mum Lady Godiva. He also loves to eat as much as he loves to play with other dogs. We went to our first Canine Good Citizen class yesterday so the next couple of weeks should be a challenge. hugs to Charlie Brown & Beau!

Hi! Thanks for "friending" me. :) I plan on doing what you did.... a chocolate/white parti and a solid chocolate doodle. I'm planning on putting a deposit on a choc. puppy at Manor Lakes but not sure exactly when.
I'm actually waiting for my Choc/white parti boy, Cooper to arrive. He's the one in the picture on my page. He'll be 5 months old April 15..(long story/had to wait to get him etc.) Anyway, I'm wondering if I should wait until I completely train Cooper or should I just go bonkers and have two grow together. ?? Any opinion would be appreciated. :) Your boys are beautiful and I cannot wait to get my hands on mine. Were Charlie Brown and Beau difficult to potty train etc.?

Happy Birthday Charlie Brown!

Today was a very special day - Charlie turned 2! We had a wonderful day and played all his favorite games. Then we had a special treat - an ice cream cookie made just for birthday boy! We are so tired and we were just going to settle down for bed, when I thought OMD - I forgot to post on DK.
