- About Me:
- I'm in my early 50s and live in a Boston suburb with my husband and our labradoodles, Wally and Charlotte. I'm also the mom of two grown children. I worked as a writer and teacher before becoming lucky enough to retire early. I spend my time with my husband, friends, family, and my furry buddies. I also enjoy cooking, photography, knitting, reading and walking - we take a couple of good walks each day. That's me in a nutshell. Oh, and we're in Cape Cod during the summer and Naples, Florida, for the winter.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Wally is an Australian Labradoodle from Tegan Park in Florida. His birthday is May 21, 2006. His parents are Zimba and Paige. He is extremely friendly and loves everybody and every animal he meets! Charlotte is also an Australian Labradoodle, and is from Heartsong Labradoodles in Kentucky. She was born on June 7, 2012. Her parents are Mattie and Cole. So far, at 11 weeks of age, she's a dream and we love her to pieces! And equally important is that Wally likes her, too.

- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We enjoy going for long walks with friends, and spending time outside. Wally LOVES to play football in our backyard. We also enjoy hiking in the town forest and going to Elm Bank and the Weston Reservoir. Wally really likes to go swimming, especially at Crystal Lake in Orleans on the Cape. When Charlotte is a bit older, I hope to get her out in the world, just like her big brother.

- I do regular brushing, and they go to the groomer every 6-8 weeks.

- Just so you know, our dear friend Johns was caught early too, he just had the Whipple procedure done thurs and is probably going home wed, as he is doing so well. He is at Brigham and women's. sorry about your friend too, but hope he does as well as our John has. Make you apprecitate how fragile we and our dogs are doesn't this ?

- Laurie, by any remote chance is the friend you spoke of with the pancreatic cancer a male, named John. I know many people are diagnosed daily with this, but he is in Worchester and has an old old family name in the Boston area with many friends.
Just wondering. If so, it would be a very small world.

When our daughter was born 14+ years ago, we started taking a summer vacation at the Cape and have continued every year since. As the newest member of our family, Darwin was, of course, included this year. He LOVED it!
