Hi Kim, I love Radley's new pics. He has certainly bleached out with the summer sun! He is adorable. Though he doesn't look much bigger than Cimmy, I am sure he is. Cimmy weighed in at 31.5 lbs. this morning at the vet. I saw you said that Radley is high energy. I told someone that Cimmy is so calm most of the time that after she gets out of all her puppy behaviors I don't know if we will even notice her. Except of course she like to sit on top of me to cuddle. My kids are cuddlers and so is our pup! She is sooo good. We just love her. We take her to the hospice house to see my husband and then take her to some of the rooms. They love to have her there. Take care. Will watch for more pics. Betsy
Thanks Kim!
Three dogs was tough when Rosco was a pup as he was my first dog (and the other two were my boyfriend's who visited regularly)...but now that they are grown it's fairly low key and easy as they are all laid back around the house (ages 3, 4, and 14).
I am ready. Tell me the poundage. How much does Radley weigh now at 16 wks? Cimmy is tiny in comparison, I know. She goes in to see the vet on Wed. so we will find out. I predict 30 lbs. She is soooo skinny, but she eats like a horse, about 4 cups of food a day! I guess it could be because she is so active. She has been in training and is soo good. We take her to visit Dirk all of the time and people can't believe how calm she is. I told Teri that once she gets out of puppyhood, I think we will have the calmest dog I have ever had. Of course, i am not complaining. Cimmy is sooo sweet. Quite the lap dog. I am not quite sure how she will fit on my lap full grown but i will figure it out. Take care. Hugs to Radley from sister, Cimmy.
I just can't picture Radley being sooo big!!! I only have Cimmy for a reference and she looks big to me!!! I am sure she is over 20 lbs which is tiny compared to your "mini horse".
Cimmy is going to a Day Care/Boot Camp. I am not really sure yet home it is going other than my very frisky baby has virtually disappeared. She is so exhausted when I bring her home each even that she doesn't do a whole lot except sleep. This morning she didn't eat even half of her breakfast and she lay on my lap as I sat on the floor for about 30 min. until I had to move. The one good thing is that she is sleeping through the night again. She had started to do so then last week started waking up around 2:30am to go out and then again at 6:30am. Now I just get all the way to 6:30. I would love it if she would sleep until 7, the kids do sometimes. :0)
I will have a report on Fri from the instructor so I will have more to tell you after. I know that they have this wonderful play area in the back that they allow her to play in with other dogs of her size or age. The have play equipment, water areas and they squirt them down with the hose. Every evening when we pick her up she is soaked. She must enjoy it. I do think she is learning, I am just looking forward to our meeting to see what exactly they worked on.
I am so sorry. I am so tired I am having a difficult time concentrating on this I will get back to you later. Thanks for the update. Betsy
