Small pink bump on dog’s chest

Started this discussion. Last reply by Nancy, Ned, Clancy, and Charlie Feb 25. 7 Replies

Noticed it a few weeks ago, but hasn’t gone away. Doesn’t seem to bother him at all whenever I touch it, but not sure what it can be. Bringing him to the vet at the end of the month for his annual…Continue

Paddy got this small bump off of his front right carpal pad about 3.5 weeks ago where it almost looked like it was a cut coming off of it. We had him at the vet 2 weeks ago where she said it didn't…Continue

Puppy Acne/Pipples on Goldendoodle Face

Started this discussion. Last reply by Cindy and Olive (Ollie) Jun 25, 2015. 2 Replies

We recently noticed a few white spots on Paddy's face that are clustered together in a group of 3. There is a group of 3 (almost in a triangle) underneath his mouth and then another group of 3 on his…Continue

"If it seems not attached to the body  you can probably wait a couple of weeks.  If it seems attached to the body, go right away.  Doodles do tend to get small benign cysts.  Only a needle biopsy can tell for sure. I would…"

Cut Bump on Carpal Pad - Anyone have experience with this?

Paddy got this small bump off of his front right carpal pad about 3.5 weeks ago where it almost looked like it was a cut coming off of it. We had him at the vet 2 weeks ago where she said it didn't look like anything to be concerned about, however he has been biting at it recently still and it looks like it has gotten much worse and looks like it definitely should be something of concern. [photo attached]I spoke with the vet and am bringing him in again this weekend for her to look at him, but…See More

"Loki went through a phase of being obsessed with down pillows and comforters. He would do the same and try and pull them away while I was sleeping and I would wake up to feathers everywhere. I had to hide all comforters and pillows when he was out…"

Jane, Guinness and Murphy replied to Kelsey T's discussion Goldendoodle Licking Holes in Pillowcases - Any suggestions?
"I agree with this.  It really does sound like a compulsive behavior which often comes from boredom or insecurity.  That said, I would keep the pillows in a place where she can't get to them until you are able to break the habit...you…"

"My dog does this as well. She licks dog beds or any blankets. She will literally do it for an hour straight. It is usually a sign that the dog is not getting enough exercise and is bored and stressed. How much exercise does your dog get? A one year…"

"I would pick the pillow up when you aren't using them.  I think it will be temporary if you break the habit.  Ned used to unzip pillows that had zippers and pull the stuffing out.  He NEVER messed with pillows w/o zippers. …"

"Sounds like some sort of obsession? Maybe just keep him out of the bedrooms at all times. The pillows would still smell like you even if the cases were washed. My schnoodle will rub all over our pillows. Like dive bomb them and then roll around. He…"

Goldendoodle Licking Holes in Pillowcases - Any suggestions?

Our 1-year old Goldendoodle has recently developed an obsession with licking our pillowcases. He'll go into our bedroom and lick a huge circle on the pillow-cases until a hole develops on them and ruins all of the cases. Whether they are slept-on or freshly washed, he has done this and has ruined three of our cases so far.In one instance, he went through the pillowcase and into the actual pillow and ended up ripping all the pillow stuffing out. We close the bedroom door when we aren't there,…See More
