Wesley is home! We are just too excited! He came home on Thursday. He is doing unbelievably well. He is going potty outside and the one time I did not get to him in time, he peed on the newspapers we laid out for him. He is eating and drinking well. He sleeps awesome, especially at night. He really hates the crate though. He howls quite a bit when we place him in his crate. We are working on getting him used to his crate.
The vet gave him a clean bill of health. He is due back to the vet's office in 3 weeks for another vaccination. He does not like walking on the leash, although he is getting used to it. We are purchasing a harness to use for walks. He loves our kids. And when I mean love, I mean he loves being near them, sitting with them, playing chase with them. He is just happy to be around the kids. He is a snuggler too! He will curl up on your lap or near you and fall asleep. He is getting used to the sounds of our home ( loud kids, vacuum, etc). He has met one of the neighborhood dogs and 3 of the neighborhood cats. He did not like the Chihuahua, as she is very yippy. He loved the cats though. He will be meeting the neighborhood great dane in about another month. That should be interesting :)
How are you doing? I bet you are getting extremely excited to get your sweet Charlie! I can hardly wait to see more pics of him!

Welcome to DK Katie!!!! I am new to the group also. You must be SO EXCITED about Charlie!!! We got our Goldendoodle Ellie end of January, she is 11 months now. They grow so quickly. Enjoy EVERY Minute!! :)
