NOVA Doodle Romp Saturday, December 1st - Alexandria at Duke Street Dog Park

- I am retired with a working husband. After losing our dog last Dec, we needed to fill the void.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- We have Goldendoodles, a male, Wilson and a female, Sophie from the same litter. Wilson looks like his Mom, a Golden, Sophie like her Dad, a poodle. We have no other pets, but 3 grandchildren to help keep us busy.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?

- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We have always had working dogs who needed a job. This time we wanted a fun loving dog that loves people and others! So we got 2 and have found them to be such fun.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Right now they are 11 weeks old and seeing the world through real puppies eyes! They love the leash and we are walking and walking. The training is going well, but could use some advice.

- A little bit but nothing major

Hi Karla. Unfortunatly I wouldn't much help in the training of 2 puppies at the same time. We got our second doodle (Lilly) when she was 2. We did get Gus at 11 weeks and did the crate training thinmg with him. One of the best things I can suggest though is to join the puppy madness group. Also take a look at the NoVA Doodle group to keep in touch with other members in the area. Also there is a schedule that was just posted of upcoming romps in the NoVA area.
