- I am a teacher. We just purchase a black standard F1B Labradoodle from a breeder and picking him up from the airport on 9/7/12. This is our first dog. We chose this dog because my daughter who graduated from college a couple of years ago has moved back home and is allergic to dogs.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- F1B black Labradoodle. Dad is AKC standard poodle, 45-50 lbs. Mom is a none-shedding F1B Labradoodle, 40-45 lbs. His "pending" name is Diesel. We also have two Parakeets.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- because I read that the Labradoodles were non-shedding. I searched online for a while and found this darling black puppy, that was it.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?

- Nope!
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- I have scouted a place in town and will update on this.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Notes from the breeder is that he is eating Kirkland signature puppy. I did a lot of research online and will wean him off to eating Orijen. Will update on this as well.

I am so glad to hear Curtis is doing well on the food change (as so many do not fair so well). I am jealous that your daughter is coming back home to stay for a while. We lived in Edmonds, WA for many years and my daughter was only a mile a way - and I loved that we could get together in just minutes if we wanted . My husband got asthma and we needed to move somewhere warm and dry so moved to the other side of the Cascade Mts where it is like the desert! Now we are 3.5 hrs apart and I would prefer the other!
Enjoy that new little one ~ before you know it they are grown up! Charlie will be 2 in Dec. We put a deposit down on a litter that was born Aug 5th. I think Charlie will love having a playmate (other than us), but I find myself a little apprenhensive because I have never owned two dogs at the same time.
Looking forward to more Curtis photos as he experiences the world.

Hi Jennifer ~ Exciting weekend coming for you and your family. I love the name Diesel and I do not think there are many with that name on this site. Be sure to check out the groups section on the main page and join as many as you like. There is a lot of puppy information. Just a friendly suggestion, that you wait a month or so before you try to change up his diet, so he can get settled in first. Just going to a new home and leaving his mama and sibling can be upsetting. Looking forward to seeing homecoming photos!
